WA Riesling is known for its vibrant flavors and balanced profile. Washington State has gained a reputation for producing high-quality Riesling, thanks to its diverse terroirs (which represents the natural environment the wine is produced) and favorable climate conditions, that imitate its origin Rhine region in Germany.

Washington Rieslings offer a range of styles from bone-dry to sweet, with crisp acidity and notes of citrus, green apple, and some cases stone fruits, like nectarine and peach. The cooler climate of the state helps preserve the acidity, which is key to the wine’s refreshing quality.

Like most grape varietals of wa-ine (Washington wine) within the State, the biggest producers are the regions of Columbia, Walla Walla, and Yakima Valleys, and for Riesling this is no exemption; Each of these regions bring their unique characteristics to each bottle, depending on the soil and climate conditions.

Flavors noticed in Rieslings are green apple, peach, citrus, and sometimes hints of honey or mineral notes. Depending on the style, they can be dry, off-dry, or sweet.
