about us

WA-in (washington wine)

Is an appreciation to the offerings that the great state of Washington offers every single harvest with every bottle, it’s an opportunity to educate yourself in the fascinating world of chemistry, patience and hard work. Our mission is to share the love of wines and wineries with no relevance if small or big productions, if they are good, they get kudos from us.

In the middle of a place that you have never heard of before they are producing award winning, exceptional wines that compete with any terroir, any riviera, and any world renowned wine.

My wife and I moved to downtown Seattle a year ago from Texas,  and after long discussions, through planning and a couple of floods,  we finally made our big move to the evergreen state.

In previous visits we went to the likes of chateau ste michelle I’m woodinville which is the oldest winery in the state with an astonishing villa, and a lot more than the 10 dollar wines that you find in every supermarket in America,  with well balanced grenache, fabulous cabs, and surprising rieslings, it was an instant love affair with the expressions of flavor in every zip; we’ll intrigue and hungry to discover more, we went to bainbridge island, which if you have visit seattle before is a must simply because of the ferry ride that captivated Derrick Sheppard in the show grey’s anatomy, it lays one of the most pleasant wineries, Eleven which have their tasting room in the middle of the town,  and their winery a couple of miles in the middle of the island, with one of the most elegant viognier and chenin blanc the market has to offer in the great pacific northwest.

We have so many different experiences in the wine world and with the purpose of going to every winery in the state, trying all their best wines and sharing those findings with you every week.

Subscribe and don’t miss out on bi-weekly updates,  newcomers, suggestions and recommendations.
